On February 10, 1997, NOAA-14 observed a large isolated ice field (21 x 42 nautical miles). It's location is approximately 67.5S latitude by 129W longitude in this image. The orange triangles indicate locations of volcanoes. This is a 4-kilometer resolution Global Area Coverage (GAC) image.
