6.5 DX DATA

The Stage DX data are considered the pixel level cloud product. They have 30 km resolution mapped pixels for every three hours for each individual satellite. One notable feature of the DX data that makes it very useful for regional studies is that it is formatted by separate satellite and the polar orbiter data are "sectorized" so that a regional study does not need to order the whole data set, but just the part over that region. DX data have a volume of approximately 3.4 Gbytes per data month. These data are only available from the Langley DAAC.
